Ten Years since the Peace Agreement in Colombia: Assessments and Perspectives

As part of the “La Statale per la Pace” programme, a conference entitled “Ten Years since the Peace Agreement in Colombia: Assessments and Perspectives” will be held on 20 October, organised by the National Centre for Prevention and Social Defence Foundation (CNDPS) in collaboration with RuniPace – the Network of Italian Universities for Peace, ICTJ – the International Centre for Transitional Justice, and CRIMePO – Centre for Research in Criminology and Public Policy at the University of Milan.

The conference, marking the tenth anniversary of the Peace Agreement between the Colombian Government and the FARC-EP, aims to reflect on the results achieved, the challenges that have emerged and the future prospects for the peace process. The first part of the proceedings will be dedicated to PhD students and young researchers who, through different disciplinary perspectives and approaches, are studying the Colombian peace process and its many dimensions. The second part, meanwhile, will focus on the main challenges and future scenarios, involving experts, academics and practitioners directly engaged in research, analysis and the implementation of policies on peace and transitional justice.
