Paths of Peace: Practices, Aesthetics, Imaginaries

“Paths of Peace: Practices, Aesthetics, Imaginaries” (Itinerarios de Paz in the original Spanish title) is a series of meetings, seminars, performances, exhibitions and research activities that explores the theme of peace through artistic practices, memory, migration and forms of social imagination. Conferences, workshops, screenings and moments of discussion invite us to consider peace not only as a political condition, but as an experience, a daily practice and a cultural process, capable of bringing together different forms of knowledge, languages and visions.

Promoted by the University of Milan as part of the MSCA project “Peace and Mobilities”, the series brings together researchers, students and academic partners from Europe and Latin America.

The programme, which runs from 28 September to 30 October 2026, includes a wide range of initiatives held in different settings across Milan and Lampedusa, involving universities, cultural institutions and other spaces in the area.
