The Limits to the Right to Strike in the Name of Safety

A moment of discussion and in-depth reflection dedicated to the theme “The Limits to the Right to Strike in the Name of Safety” which will bring together jurists, judges, lawyers, and academics to explore the relationship between safety, freedom, and the boundaries of the right to strike, as well as trade union relations and criminal law.
After the opening remarks by Silvia Balestro, labor lawyer and Vice President of AGI Lombardia, and Federico Riboldi, criminal lawyer and Secretary of the Milan Bar Association, the speakers will include Monica Vitali, former President of the Labor Section of the Milan Court of Appeal; Roberto Cornelli, Full Professor at the University of Milan; Lorenzo Giasanti, Associate Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca; labor lawyers Alberto Guariso and Emanuela Nespoli; criminal lawyer Mirko Mazzali; and Domenico Santoro, Judge of the Preliminary Investigations Office (GIP) of Milan.
The discussion will be moderated by Silvia Gariboldi, labor lawyer.
