Presentation of the New Journal “Care and Justice”

April 07th, 2025

On March 14, 2025, “Cura e Giustizia” [Care and Justice] was launched—a new scientific journal promoted by Rete Dafne with the aim of exploring the complex relationship between justice and care. Adopting an interdisciplinary perspective, the journal engages primarily with legal, philosophical, psychological, criminological, and sociological sciences.

The editorial direction is entrusted to Valentina Bonini, Marco Bouchard, Giovanni Mierolo, and Grazia Mannozzi. Professor Roberto Cornelli, Full Professor of Criminology and Director of CRIMePO, serves as a member of the journal’s Scientific Committee. Dr. Gregorio Valducci, a PhD candidate at the Piero Martinetti Department of Philosophy, is part of the Laboratorio Editorial Board.

“Care and Justice” will be available both online and in print, with biannual issues. It is structured into four sections: “Words and Language” – dedicated to the analysis of legal and social discourse; “Studies and Research” – featuring scientific contributions on justice and care; “Dialogues and Intersections” – focusing on interdisciplinary and comparative studies; “Papers and Maps” – offering reviews, interviews, and commentaries on current legal issues.

Beyond engaging the scientific community, the journal aims to serve as a reference point for professionals and practitioners, as well as a broader audience interested in an innovative and inclusive approach to justice.
