In the July 16 episode of “Il Mondo”, the podcast by Internazionale, the tensions arising from the United States in relation to the International Criminal Court are examined, particularly following Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s comments against this independent institution. 

Together with Chantal Meloni, Professor of International Criminal Law at the University of Milan, these statements are critically analyzed, and reflections are offered on the role and importance of the Court, also in light of the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute, celebrated on July 17.
