Summer School in the Sociology of Law and Deviance
From July 14 to 16, 2025, the third edition of the Summer School organized by the Italian Association of Sociology (AIS) in Sociology of Law and Deviance will be held at the University of Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples. The title of this year’s edition is The new dimensions of normativity. Cohesion, conflict, and social change.
The Summer School aims to explore the contexts in which law and social structures intersect with conflictual dynamics, as well as with forms of social cohesion. The program is structured around two main formats: training workshops and discussion panels, both designed to examine the logics, methods, and dynamics of legal systems and legal cultures, addressing a range of topics relevant to the field of the sociology of law and deviance.
