Presentation of the book "Polemos: War in Greece"
As part of the initiative La Statale per la Pace, there will be a presentation of the book “Polemos: la guerra in Grecia” [Polemos: War in Greece] (Laterza, 2025) by Giuseppe Zanetto. The event will also feature Silvia Romani, professor at the University of Milan.
The volume offers an in-depth analysis of war in ancient Greece, showing how it was an integral part of daily life. Through the study of history and literature, Zanetto explores the practices, values, and critical perspectives that accompanied this phenomenon, providing a fresh interpretation of classical Greek culture.
