Making Peace with the World. A Multifocal Perspective on Reality

We are pleased to present the lecture series, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Como and under the patronage of the University of Insubria, “Making Peace with the World: A Multifocal Perspective on Reality”, dedicated to the major currents of contemporary culture.

Developed through a multifocal and multidisciplinary approach, the series consists of five meetings aimed at reflecting on the dramatic historical moment we are currently experiencing—marked by the excessive use of force and the denial of human dignity. All this calls for a thoughtful consideration of the meaning of peace, understood in a positive sense, and of our responsibilities in shaping a possible future.
