In the Shark’s Mouth: Narratives of Peace and Migration for Today
From March 10 to 13, 2026, the Casa della Cultura in Milan will host “Nella bocca dello squalo. Narrazioni di pace e migrazione per l’oggi” [In the Shark’s Mouth: Narratives of Peace and Migration for Today], a series of three events focused on migration and how it is represented:
- March 10 — Le migrazioni e il racconto degli altri
- March 11 — Fare arte per r-esistere
- March 13 — Vito e il mare: una testimonianza in movimento
The events bring together scholars, writers, artists, and direct witnesses for a public discussion on the ways migrations are told and the responsibilities involved in their storytelling. The discussion will be held in Italian.
The initiative is held under the patronage of the Scuola di giornalismo Walter Tobagi and in collaboration with the university projects Peace & Mobilities and La Statale per la Pace.
