From Crisis to Resilience: Understanding Youth Violence in the Post-Pandemic Era

The conference “From Crisis to Resilience: Understanding Youth Violence in the Post-Pandemic Era” will be held on February 4 in Bologna and is organized within the framework of the PRIN 2022 project Deviant behaviors and violence in young people after COVID-19: sign of the times or consequence of the pandemic?, with the patronage of the Italian Society of Criminology, the Emilia-Romagna Region, and the Italian Forum for Urban Security.

The focus of the conference will be on youth deviance, which appears to have emerged more prominently in the post-pandemic period, amplified by the media and political discourse. The aim is to provide a multidimensional understanding of the phenomenon and to promote a shared reflection on interventions for supporting youth, ensuring their safety, and fostering their participation in community life.

Participation is free of charge. More information can be found in the attached flyer.
