Conference “Police and Social Change: The Challenges of Gender and Ethnicity in Contemporary Italy”
On January 16, 2026, at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Bologna, the final conference of the PRIN 2022 Project Police and Social Change: The Challenges of Gender and Ethnicity in Contemporary Italy will be held. The project involved the University of Bologna, under the scientific responsibility of Professor Rossella Selmini, the University of Milan, coordinated by Professor Roberto Cornelli, and the University of Bari, led by Professor Giuseppe Campesi. The morning session will be dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the main research findings, while in the afternoon two thematic roundtables will take place, focusing respectively on “Minorities and Recruitment” and “Gender and Training”. Participation is free of charge.
